Job Description
Safely and efficiently collect samples for testing aggregates, concrete, and asphalt materials. Perform sampling, testing, and reporting procedures according to established protocol, maintain a daily record of test results, and communicate data.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with industry standards and specifications
  • Three (3) years of laboratory testing experience in ready-mix concrete and construction aggregate properties
  • One (1) year of asphalt testing experience
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instruction and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Demonstrated proficiency with personal computer and software packages
  • TXDOT level 1A HMA and AGG 101 certification or other DOT equivalent such as TTCP Asphalt or Aggregate certifications
