Job Description
As a Real Estate Accountant at Harbor Group Management Company, you will be responsible for accounting functions related to various real estate portfolios, including multi-family and commercial properties. You will prepare monthly financial packages, reconcile mortgage and escrow balances, and assist in preparing quarter-end and year-end packages for the CPA firms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent discipline
  • 1-4 years of relevant work experience
  • CPA a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work well under pressure
  • 1-2 years with a Public accounting firm is a plus
  • Experience with YARDI and MRI a plus
