Job Description
Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Capital Markets Litigation Associate Attorney to join a highly respected Am Law firm in New York. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of commercial litigation experience, handling complex commercial real estate disputes for institutional and high-profile clients.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of commercial litigation experience
  • Experience with motion practice, discovery, e-discovery, and courtroom proceedings
  • Experience handling commercial landlord-tenant litigation matters, including preparation and service of predicate notices and court pleadings
  • Experience with, or interest in learning, commercial foreclosure litigation
  • Strong legal research and writing skills, including familiarity with New York citation formatting
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Prior large regional, national, or international law firm experience preferred
