Role Overview

As a Real Estate Services Technician 2, you will perform mid-level technical services for right-of-way projects, including project coordination, title review, and document preparation. You will work collaboratively with agents and under the direction of a Project Manager. You will be responsible for inputting data, maintaining tracking and parcel status database, and preparing client reports.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include performing technical services, reviewing title, preparing acquisition and document packages, coordinating closing/settlement/condemnation packages, and maintaining a parcel status database.

Why It Might Be a Fit

To be a fit for this role, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years of experience with right-of-way, title, paralegal, real property law, or mortgage lending. You will also need to have proficiency with MS Office Suite and industry experience is beneficial.

Requirements

  • AA degree or equivalent experience
  • Database and GIS familiarity
  • Specific experience with power and/or utility right-of-way processes, document generation, and support
  • Experience identifying and correcting typographical, numerical, or structural errors in order to produce accurate and complete work products
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with right-of-way, title, paralegal, real property law, or mortgage lending
  • Specific industry regulatory knowledge a plus
  • Ability to understand real estate documents such as title, appraisal, environmental, and survey
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Industry experience is beneficial and highly organized work approach
