Receiving Chemist I

Requirements

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
• Verify counts and sizes of received loads and properly code all waste for disposal processing
• Sample all incoming drums and perform basic analysis of samples following prescribed procedures
• Sort through batteries and consolidate all alkaline batteries for disposal
• Confirm all drums are properly and accurately coded for routing and billing according to protocol
• Ensure all drums are assigned the proper disposal process and/or outbound profile
• Maintain a safe working environment that complies with all applicable OSHA regulations as well as all applicable company Health & Safety and Compliance protocols
