Role OverviewThe Receiving Inspector will perform and document the results of inspections or tests in accordance with documented procedures, acceptance standards, and/or industry practices. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of six years of experience in quality inspection or a related field. The inspector will be responsible for ensuring a safe work environment, participating in training/certifications, and assisting with the implementation of inspection plans.

The Receiving Inspector will possess competency in areas such as receipt inspection principles, welding inspection requirements, and material verification processes. They will also be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings, weld symbols, specifications, procurement documents, codes, standards, and technical procedures.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in quality inspection, welding inspection, quality assurance, construction, manufacturing, nuclear, power generation, heavy industrial, or related technical field
- Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required
- Demonstrated knowledge of receipt inspection principles, welding inspection requirements, and material verification processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, specifications, procurement documents, codes, standards, and technical procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic quality record systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain applicable project inspection qualifications and certifications
