Job Description
The Receptionist HCC position performs day-to-day administrative and receptionist functions at the facility, including answering phone calls, maintaining confidentiality, and assisting with payroll and supply inventory.
Requirements
Answers incoming telephone calls and directs to appropriate person or department
Maintains confidentiality of personnel information
Types documents and reports at 50 words per minute with high accuracy
Remains at repetitious tasks for long periods of time
Recognizes and responds to resident emergency situations
Maintains strict confidentiality on facility data
Communicates with and supports residents, families, visitors, etc.
Maintains privacy of records and other information
Operates office machines and computer
Prepares and mail statements
Assists in preparing time cards and distributing payroll checks
Maintains current file and listing of residents and on-call personnel
Grets visitors and monitors suspicious persons or situations
Receives, sorts, and distributes mail
Refers difficult interactions to Administrator or department head
Conducts annual salary and wage surveys
Assists in reporting complaints and grievances
Assists with completing forms, reports, and supply inventory
