Job Description
The Receptionist HCC position performs day-to-day administrative and receptionist functions at the facility, including answering phone calls, maintaining confidentiality, and assisting with payroll and supply inventory.

Requirements

  • Answers incoming telephone calls and directs to appropriate person or department
  • Maintains confidentiality of personnel information
  • Types documents and reports at 50 words per minute with high accuracy
  • Remains at repetitious tasks for long periods of time
  • Recognizes and responds to resident emergency situations
  • Maintains strict confidentiality on facility data
  • Communicates with and supports residents, families, visitors, etc.
  • Maintains privacy of records and other information
  • Operates office machines and computer
  • Prepares and mail statements
  • Assists in preparing time cards and distributing payroll checks
  • Maintains current file and listing of residents and on-call personnel
  • Grets visitors and monitors suspicious persons or situations
  • Receives, sorts, and distributes mail
  • Refers difficult interactions to Administrator or department head
  • Conducts annual salary and wage surveys
  • Assists in reporting complaints and grievances
  • Assists with completing forms, reports, and supply inventory
