Job Description
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) is seeking a Records Management Officer to support the Office of Employee and Business Services (OEBS). The ideal candidate will have formal education in English & arithmetic and experience in records management and public relations or business communications.

Requirements

  • Open mail with a mass mail slicer or manually as needed.
  • Prepare all hard copy mail for scanning by removing paper clips, staples and repairing torn edges.
  • Sort and organize paper documents into the proper sequence according to customer defined guidelines.
  • Operate multi-function printer and digital imaging equipment to prepare, scan and quality check hard copy mail.
  • Verify scanned documents to ensure quality images through designated software.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests for information about mail.
  • Keep supervisor informed of any equipment or production issues.
  • Store all mail records and dispose of them according to retention schedules.
