Role Overview

Work collaboratively with law enforcement professionals and other stakeholders to provide high-level administrative support, including answering incoming calls, providing customer service, mail distribution, requisition of supplies, preparing correspondence, handling public requests, arranging meetings and travel requests, and maintaining various databases.

Maintain databases, provide customer service, answer incoming calls, distribute mail, requisition supplies, prepare correspondence, handle public requests, arrange meetings and travel requests, and perform additional clerical duties as required.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of general office procedures and basic filing practices, skill in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Access, and ability to type letters, memoranda, and other standard business forms in correct format using correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Clerical experience (filing, typing, preparing, and maintaining records and/or reports)
  • Experience providing customer service in-person or via telephone
