Job Description
Recovery Associate collects and services end of term and charged off accounts via inbound/outbound consumer calls to collect on charged off balances. The role will also manage multiple queues and negotiate terms to maximize recoveries on accounts worked. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred, and a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience is required.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 2-4 years related experience in a call center performing Collections, Servicing, Credit or Funding roles
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent time management planning, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with consumers to provide clear explanation around balances and contractual obligations
  • Proficient with Microsoft office including intermediate level with Excel
  • Ability to learn and quickly adapt to multiple vendor account software and databases
  • Proven ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail, and ability to work in fast paced environment
