Job Description
The CDC Foundation is seeking a Recovery Coach to assist individuals in linkage to care and needed services, perform community outreach, and support surveillance, prevention and response activities within the Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) program.
Requirements
Valid Peer Recovery Specialist certification through the Maryland Addiction and Behavioral Health Professionals Certification Board (MABPCB)
Valid driver's license and car insurance for travel
Minimum of two (2) years of current and continuous recovery from a substance use disorder
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Knowledge of substance use disorders, treatment options and Community Based Overdose Prevention principles
Experience working with and advocating for individuals with substance use disorders and/or mental health conditions
