Job Description
Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) is hiring a part-time Recovery Support Specialist to provide recovery support and crisis intervention to clients living in the community.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CADC (Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor) certification preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in the human service or social service required
  • Certified Recovery Support Specialist certification required
  • Lived mental health or substance abuse experience required
  • Bilingual, Spanish and English, preferred
  • Excellent organization, presentation and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office
