Job Description
Join the City of Boulder as a Recreation Instructor I Gymnastics and develop athletes in a collaborative environment. This full-time salaried position offers the chance to join a dedicated coaching staff and become an integral part of the team.

Requirements

  • Teaches gymnastics to preschool children ages 2 - 5 years old
  • Teaches school-aged, recreational gymnastics, ages 6 and older
  • Sets up equipment, maintain roll sheets, and communicate with parents
  • Takes proper safety precautions, anticipate unsafe circumstances, and act accordingly to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Enforces rules, regulations, and policies; maintains safety, order and discipline of participants, and/or customers
  • Performs customer relations role which may include interacting with parents, participants, program partners, and/or city staff to provide information and solve problems
  • Works as part of a team, attending training, orientation and/or staff meeting as needed
  • Assists with coaching Xcel girls’ teams or boys’ competitive program after proven job performance or experience
