Role OverviewThe Recreational Supervisor will perform a wide variety of duties related to the goals and objectives of the after school program, including program management, directing the activities of recreational leaders, and supervision of assigned employees and students.
What You Will Do
Coordinate and manage the day-to-day activities and services of the after school program, establish and maintain positive public relations with district staff, parents, teachers, and students, and handle issues of student discipline and program participant complaints.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in an instructional and/or supervisory capacity, preferably in a school setting, and possess a valid California Motor Vehicle Operator's license and maintain the minimum state vehicle insurance.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- NCLB certification preferred
- Some college preferred
- Experience working with children in an instructional and/or supervisory capacity
- Valid California Motor Vehicle Operator's license
- Certification in first aid and CPR required
