Role Overview

The primary function of the Recruit Specialist is to effectively communicate with military recruiters and recruits nationwide about Armed Forces Bank, N.A. (AFB) Recruit Program. The promotion of the AFB Recruit Program requires a strong knowledge of the various military branches of service, recruiting, and recruiters, and results in opening new accounts for recruits by a Recruit Specialist.

What You Will Do

Communicate with military recruits and recruiters via outbound communication (telephone, email, and letter) regarding the Recruit Program as well as the bank and bank products (accounts and convenience products). Perform account opening and account maintenance via AEM and Navigator.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain clearance to be on military base
  • Sales experience (preferred)
  • Prior banking experience (preferred)
  • Military knowledge (preferred)
