Role OverviewThe Redleaf Teaching Kitchen Coordinator will work in collaboration with the Program Manager to develop, implement, and evaluate plans for quality indicators, outcomes, and scope of services for the teaching kitchen. The role requires systems-thinking, consensus-building, and conflict resolution skills. The Coordinator will manage projects and operations according to plans and regulations.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include planning and managing daily operations of the teaching kitchen, teaching culinary classes, developing curriculum using evidence-based nutrition interventions, maintaining schedules and coordinating kitchen use, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a culinary degree, 4 years of experience in food/nutrition science, and some culinary experience. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, certified chef training, and quality improvement experience.
