Role OverviewThe Referral Intake Specialist will process Early Intervention Program referrals, enter them into an Electronic Case Management system, and provide clerical assistance to facilitate projects or assignments. The role requires attention to detail, excellent computer skills, and excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and provide flexibility in providing other types of clerical/office assistance when needed.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Referral Intake Specialist will include processing referrals, entering them into the Electronic Case Management system, and providing clerical assistance. The role will also involve following procedures to ensure the accuracy of information entered into the system and avoiding creating duplicate records.

Requirements
- A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization
- One year of satisfactory clerical experience
- Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute
