Job Description
As a Refinery Analysis Accountant Specialist, you will execute day-to-day accounting and analysis activities, including financial planning, capital budgeting, cost accounting, and financial reporting. You will work with various teams to solve problems and prepare financial forecasts and reports. This is a salaried exempt position that requires a bachelor's degree in accounting and 5 years of accounting experience.

Requirements

  • Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero Port Arthur Refinery, required.
  • Bachelor's or higher level degree in Accounting required.
  • 5 years of accounting experience required.
  • Master’s or higher level degree - in a related field preferred.
  • Experience in the refining and/or chemical manufacturing industry preferred.
  • CPA certification preferred.
