Role Overview

We are seeking a Refractive Technician to join our team of dedicated professionals who share one goal: delivering outstanding patient care. No prior ophthalmology experience is required, and we provide hands-on training and mentorship to help you build the skills needed to succeed in this specialized field.

What You Will Do

As a Refractive Technician, you will play an important role in supporting physicians and ensuring a smooth patient experience. Responsibilities include gathering patient medical histories, performing patient work-ups and pre-testing, measuring visual acuity and performing pupil assessments, and conducting diagnostic testing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • One year of medical or ophthalmic office experience preferred
  • COA or COT certification preferred, but not required for otherwise qualified candidates
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-first mindset
