Role OverviewThe Ammonia Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for maintaining and servicing ammonia refrigeration systems and related utility equipment.

Maintaining refrigeration equipment, performing PM's, communicating with maintenance management, and using required tools and equipment.

Requirements
- RETA Certification or equivalent technical training
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use required tools/equipment
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics and blue prints
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with screw and reciprocating compressors, Cornell recirculation pumps, HVAC units, boilers, air compressors, and associated control systems
- Ability to acquire Hazmat Responder Certification and be an active part of the Hazmat Response Team
