Job Description
Role Overview

The Service Technician reports to the Service Manager and is responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining commercial refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate combines strong technical refrigeration expertise with commitment to safety, quality, and exceptional customer service.

What You Will Do

Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration systems, perform start-up of refrigeration equipment, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant system issues, and conduct preventative maintenance.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of experience servicing commercial refrigeration systems
  • Experience in commercial foodservice equipment
  • EPA Universal Certification Type II (required)
  • Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, controls, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical schematics
  • Experience with common brands of commercial refrigeration equipment
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in confined or high-temperature environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and independent work ethic
