Role OverviewThe Refrigeration Technician is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the ammonia refrigeration system, boiler, wastewater/sewer, compressed air, fire suppression, HVAC, and building maintenance tasks. They are also responsible for preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on all equipment as needed.
What You Will Do
Maintain and complete work orders and preventive maintenance paperwork in a timely manner, maintain a logbook of all breakdowns and corrective actions taken, complete daily rounds on all equipment, schedule shutdowns of equipment and machinery for repairs and maintenance, troubleshoot equipment mechanically and electrically for any issues, and utilize time effectively to best minimize equipment downtime and repairs.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a refrigeration or boiler room, a strong working knowledge of industrial maintenance and electrical functions, and the ability to learn and follow directions from management and team leaders.
Requirements

- Strong working knowledge of industrial maintenance and electrical functions
- Ability to learn and follow directions from management and team leaders
- Universal EPA certification
- SCBA certification for Haz-Mat
- Ability to program drives (Schneider, Power Flex, ABB, ETC.) and/or WIFI control modules such as KE2, Sensor push, Johnson controls, BAS automation system
