Role OverviewThis is a Refund Audit Reviewer and Trainer position in the General Tax Administration Program's Refunds and Revenue Accounting Process, Refunds Unit. The incumbent performs analysis of refund cases to determine tax law application or procedures, provides training, research, analyzes, interprets, and applies tax laws, rules, court decisions, and department policies. The incumbent also serves as a leader and may be required to appear in court as a witness.

Why It Might Be a Fit
Experience working within the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX), experience using Microsoft Word and Excel, and experience researching Florida statutes and administrative codes are preferred.
Requirements
- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue
- Six years of tax auditing experience
- Experience working within the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX)
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
