Job Description
The Region HSE Manager (RHSE) ensures assigned plants comply with all regulatory requirements and adherence to ISO14001/45001 programs. Responsibilities include development of technical policies, programs, and procedures to achieve regulatory compliance, providing technical assistance to subordinate plant HSE Managers and Plant Leadership Teams, developing, and maintaining relationships with regulatory personnel, conducting internal audits, risk assessment and hazard awareness communication.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Health, Safety, and/or Environmental management including systems and policies development & implementation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing environments in functions such as: Operations, Engineering, Quality, or Operational Excellence.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency, including daily use of HRIS, Microsoft Office, and digital reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Must have a valid drivers' license to facilitate extensive travel required.
  • Master's degree in health, Safety, or Environmental or an equivalent combination of education & experience is required.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience on shop floor, working with employees, and enhancing safety in manufacturing processes is preferred.
  • Proven experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation and support is preferred.
  • Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 14001 and/or 45001 is a plus.
  • Proficiency in auditing for compliance is preferred.
  • Proven ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors is preferred.
