Job Description
Troon Customer Finance is a centralized team dedicated to delivering high-quality, scalable financial services to Troon-managed facilities. The Regional Accounting Lead oversees accounting operations for a portfolio of managed golf clubs, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with GAAP, and alignment with Troon’s internal standards.

Requirements

  • Lead monthly close processes and review deliverables
  • Supervise and develop a small team of accountants
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and Troon’s internal controls and standard operating procedures
  • Support annual external audits and conduct internal audit fieldwork as needed
  • Assist operations teams with annual budgets and periodic forecasts
  • Analyze financial performance and identify significant variances from budgeted results
  • Attend finance committee meetings and present financial insights as needed
  • Collaborate with operations leaders to align financial priorities with business goals
  • Lead accounting transitions for new properties and ensure smooth integration
  • Coordinate with other departments on accounting matters and policy adherence
  • Conduct periodic site visits to managed golf clubs
