Job Description
The Regional Accounting Manager works with Regional Controllers and station Business Managers to accurately prepare monthly financial results for designated stations assigned within the Region. The position is involved in the preparation and analysis of the stations’ annual operating forecasts, budgets and various monthly reports including variance analyses and reconciliations.

Requirements

  • Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules for multiple stations in accordance with monthly and annual close requirements
  • Post and review financial data in general ledgers and journals; prepare and review reconciliations
  • Manage monthly and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
  • Review accounting documentation for accuracy and proper accounting treatment; prepare and approve correcting journal entries as needed
  • Prepare, maintain, and oversee subsidiary accounting records across a variety of transactions and accounts
  • Perform and review account analyses and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Partner with Station Business Managers in the preparation of station forecasts and annual budgets
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end audit schedules and respond to audit-related requests
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and GAAP standards
