Role OverviewThe Regional Director of Activities is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Activities department, ensuring Oakmont standards are met and that programming and activities exceed resident and family expectations. The role involves leading the Activities Specialists, supporting communities, and creating, developing, and implementing programs that maximize engagement. The Director works directly with the Vice President of Memory Care and Programming to achieve this goal.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities include developing and leading Activity program-specific training, maintaining effective communications with various teams, participating in the development of activity program standards, and collaborating with the VP of Memory Care and Programming to implement new activity programs. The Director also supervises Regional Specialists, manages schedules, and delegates assignments.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in an engagement/activity-related role, with at least 3 years in a management/leadership role. Multi-site experience and proven operational expertise are required. Preferred education includes a BA/S degree in Leisure studies, Therapeutic Recreation, Sociology, Education, or a related field.
