Role Overview

The Regional Director of Epidemiology will work with Compass Connections program management teams to develop preparedness guidance and provide public health guidance and support to divisional programs. The role requires a Master's degree in public health with an emphasis in epidemiology, health policy, health promotion, or a related field, and two years of experience in the public health field.

What You Will Do

The Regional Director of Epidemiology will conduct site visits and assessments, provide training to staff, maintain confidentiality of health care records, and identify training needs. The role also involves developing and delivering public health educational training programs, conducting epidemiological investigations, and proposing corrective action or interventions.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in public health with an emphasis in epidemiology, health policy, health promotion, or a related field

  • First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention certifications
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and service providers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions based on the needs of the program and service population
