Job Description
Hyatt seeks a Regional Director of Labor Relations - NYC to join our Labor Relations Team. This role will focus on dispute resolution and contract interpretation, providing support for fourteen (14) Hyatt properties in New York City.

Requirements

  • Oversee the daily administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with the Union.
  • Maintain grievance log and prepare statistical reports in partnership with the broader regional labor team.
  • Actively support managers and supervisors in the investigation of grievances with a focus on proactively resolving them internally.
  • Represent the Hotel and act as the spokesperson at grievance meetings.
  • Educate and guide managers and supervisors through the grievance process and on contract interpretation.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing lists of management initiatives and proposals for future contract negotiations.
  • Educate managers and supervisors on the effects of historical work practices as well as actions that impact work practices.
