Role Overview

Join the team at Wis-Pak, a billion-dollar organization that fuels your favorite beverages. As a Regional Environmental and Sustainability Specialist, you'll engage, communicate, and influence others to develop a culture of safety, sustainability, and environmental excellence. You'll develop and maintain policies, procedures, and practices throughout the Wis-Pak sites, collaborate with leadership and external stakeholders, and implement sustainability programs and practices across all sites.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring and managing water consumption, waste disposal, energy and fossil fuel consumption, and air emissions. You'll also educate all Wis-Pak team members and stakeholders on sustainability policies, procedures, and practices, and communicate all sustainability initiatives and campaigns through organized training and formal communication sessions.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a field of Engineering, Environmental Science, or related technical discipline, and three to five years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining corporate multisite sustainability programs. You'll need to have excellent organizational and project management skills, the ability to manage multiple projects at once, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining corporate multisite sustainability program
  • Working knowledge and effective ability to develop training programs, and communications
  • Detailed knowledge and the application of Environmental Social Governance
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as a highly motivated self-starter
  • Ability to work autonomously or in a group setting
