Role Overview

We are seeking a self-motivated, organized, and solutions-oriented professional who takes pride in maintaining exceptional facilities and is passionate about supporting the teams who operate our childcare centers. The Regional Facilities Manager will support childcare centers across multiple locations and states, ensuring that all building systems are functioning properly and developing strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

What You Will Do

The Regional Facilities Manager will schedule and supervise maintenance and repair work, develop and manage vendor relationships, and lead renovation, refurbishment, and facilities improvement projects. They will also initiate and manage property insurance claims, create and manage a fleet management process, and establish a consistent communication process with contractors and center teams.

To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. You should also have 3-7 years of experience in facilities management, facilities maintenance, construction, or a similar field, and strong procurement and negotiation skills.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in facilities management, facilities maintenance, construction, or a similar field
  • Knowledge of general construction and maintenance costs
  • Understanding of budgeting processes and the ability to prioritize maintenance and construction needs
  • Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management
  • Strong procurement and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software
  • Working knowledge of a CMMS such as ServiceChannel, Corrigo, or EcoTrak
  • Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and respond quickly to facilities-related issues
  • A strong customer-service mindset and the ability to build positive relationships with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
