Role OverviewThe Regional Health Services Specialist is a licensed nurse responsible for managing the day-to-day healthcare operations of assigned communities to ensure residents' healthcare needs are met. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensures quality care as residents' healthcare needs change. Supervises licensed nurses and other direct care team members within the community.
What You Will Do
Manages healthcare operations, supervises staff, and ensures quality care. Travels within the organization to support vacant positions, startup communities, vacations/leave of absences, etc.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will be based in or near the Orange County market. Assisted living clinical experience is preferred. Candidates must hold a valid California LVN license in good standing.
Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse holding a valid California nursing license in good standing
- Prefer Four (4) years' experience working in Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
- Prefer Three (3) year experience supervising and managing employees
- Prefer Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) license
- Able to effectively teach/train staff
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test within 72 hours of start date
