Role OverviewThe Regional Health Services Specialist is a licensed nurse responsible for managing the day-to-day healthcare operations of the assigned communities to ensure resident’s healthcare needs are met. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensure quality care as resident’s healthcare needs change. Supervises licensed nurses and other direct care team members within the community.
What You Will Do
Travels within the organization to support the management of vacant positions, startup communities, vacations/leave of absences, etc. Strengthens clinical processes within the community until a replacement is identified, then supports newly assigned Health Services Director.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse holding a valid California nursing license in good standing. Prefer Four (4) years’ experience working in Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) and Three (3) year experience supervising and managing employees.
Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse holding a valid California nursing license in good standing
- Prefer Four (4) years’ experience working in Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
- Prefer Three (3) year experience supervising and managing employees
- Prefer Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) license
- Able to effectively teach/train staff
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test within 72 hours of start date
