Job Description
Join the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities as a Mental Health Administrator 4 to oversee abuse and neglect prevention programs, develop departmental procedures, and conduct independent research. Travel to various County Boards of Developmental Disabilities in the Northeast Ohio region.

Requirements

  • Completion of undergraduate core program in mental health & developmental disabilities technology, social work, or comparable field
  • 24 months experience in development & implementation of treatment/ habilitation plans for persons who are mentally ill or developmentally disabled
  • 12 months training or 12 months experience in state & federal regulations, standards & court orders governing care, custody, treatment, programming & environment of consumers/residents in mental health or developmental centers
  • 6 months experience as Mental Health Administrator 3
