Role OverviewThe HR & Talent Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the employee lifecycle and ensuring the smooth execution of all employment-related operations across KIPP Massachusetts. This role helps create an exceptional experience for candidates, new hires, current employees, and departing staff by providing outstanding customer service, maintaining accurate employee data, coordinating key HR processes, and supporting recruitment and retention initiatives.
What You Will Do
The HR & Talent Coordinator will coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, prepare and distribute employment-related documentation, manage employee records, and perform general administrative duties. They will also conduct professional reference checks, assist with candidate sourcing activities, and support virtual and in-person recruitment events.

Requirements
- Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Computer literacy and baseline familiarity with Google Suite
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Highly organized, with ability to manage multiple projects at once and produce high quality work
- Sound judgment, with ability to handle sensitive employment information with discretion and confidentiality
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal skills required to work with a broad group of stakeholders with different interests and needs
- Experience in nonprofit setting or K-12 education (preferred)
- Demonstrated commitment to superior customer service

Benefits
- Minimum base salary range $45,000 to $60,000 (per 1.0 FTE/45 hours per week)
- $1,000 signing bonus
- $2,000 retention bonus in subsequent years
