Role OverviewThe Regional Referral Center-RN will oversee and support all roles within the RRC Access Call Center, providing clinical expertise and guidance to the Access Center coordinators. The RN will communicate with referring and accepting physicians to comprehend and plan for the needs of complex transfers.
What You Will Do
The RN will provide leadership and guidance to the Access Center coordinators, manage and guide the Access Center Coordinators, and oversee the process for all ‘alerts’ across the system. The RN will also coordinate the movement of patients throughout the entire Premier Health System and outside transfers into Premier Health.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The RN will have the clinical knowledge and skill to suggest and drive the admission process, and will be able to work proactively with the referring facilities to drive emergent and non-emergent referrals to all Premier Health Facilities.
Requirements
- Graduation from accredited school of nursing
- Valid Ohio RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of acute care hospital RN experience
- Experience in an ED or ICU setting is preferred
