Job Description
Empowering people who build the future. This job’s primary function is to build relationships with customers and help support the sale of Gerdau product(s) to our customers (i.e., revenue generation).

Requirements

  • Establish rapport, trust and strong relationships with customers via face-to-face meetings (in person); represent Gerdau as a company and understanding their business needs and how Gerdau can help meet those needs with our products and offerings.
  • Establish the forecast for 2-3 months out based on customers’ needs for tons (use both volume and price) Decision and analysis on pricing with customers in terms of what type of discount or rebate they can offer depending on size of customers, strategic impact and volume of the order.
  • Collaborate with the Inside Sales, Customer Service, Fulfillment and Marketing groups to ensure customers are sending in orders and accepting orders when they come in.
