Role OverviewThe regional Truck Driver is responsible for executing same-day pickup and delivery (P&D) operations within a defined geographic area, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate transportation of freight. This role requires a safety-first mindset, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality, professional service.
What You Will Do
Drives semi-tractor/trailers for up to 11 hours after 10 hours off-duty on runs of up to one week or more. Maintains compliance with Federal and State safety regulations and safe and professional driving behavior.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL A License, 2 years of CDL A driving experience within the last 4 years, and strong customer service skills and professionalism in customer-facing environments.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A License
- Minimum 2 years of CDL A driving experience within the last 4 years
- Must meet DOT qualification requirements (FMCSR 391.41)
- No positive drug or alcohol test results in the past five (5) yrs.
- No accident involving bodily injury within the last three (3) yrs.
- TWIC card (or ability to obtain within 90 days, if required)
- Hazmat endorsement required
