Role OverviewThe Regional Underwriting Team Leader is responsible for leading the underwriting and production efforts of a team of Ag Underwriters. This position involves day-to-day production, underwriting quality, account management, and referral authority. The leader provides technical direction to the Ag Lines team in interpreting underwriting policies and procedures.
What You Will Do
The Regional Underwriting Team Leader will have individual production responsibilities involving large and complex technical accounts, as well as providing support to top and middle-tier agents. This position requires the ability to apply sound underwriting principles and manage an underwriting workload.

Requirements
- College degree (or equivalent experience)
- Seven to ten years of progressively challenging experience as an Ag Lines Underwriter
- Ability to apply sound underwriting principles and manage an underwriting workload
- Minimum of two to three years in a leadership or supervisory role directing the efforts of a professional team
- Completion of technical insurance coursework preferred (CPCU, AU, ARM, CRM, or CIC)
