Role Overview

This is a chief administrative position responsible for the operation and development of the Office of Academic Records as a support service to the academic function of the University. Prepares all registration processes, maintains database tables, and oversees online registration. Supports University programs and policies as established by federal, state, administrative, and academic entities.

What You Will Do

Establishes and maintains an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the OAR’s goals and objectives. Prepares grade sheets and final grades for student access online. Enforces academic rules and regulations; monitors academic standing; coordinates probation, and suspension, as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of, or the ability to learn, University academic policies, procedures, and degree requirements
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office; knowledge of Banner SaaS preferred
  • Ability to manage a budget and work within the constraints of that budget
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions
  • Ability to establish program goals and objectives that support the strategic plan
  • Ability to supervise others
  • Commitment to providing support for student development and success
  • Experience in data reporting
