Job Description
Under the supervision of the school principal, the regular teacher is responsible for the instruction, progress, and discipline of all pupils in assigned classes. They also perform related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Instructional planning, including providing written lesson plans and preparation
  • Evaluating pupils' progress and maintaining current and accurate records of pupils' achievements
  • Implementing instructional methods, including applying contemporary principles of learning theory and teaching methodology
  • Exhibiting and applying knowledge of the curriculum content related to subject areas and instructional level
  • Maintaining accurate attendance records and seating charts
  • Encouraging student growth in self-discipline and positive self-concept
