Role Overview

This in-office position is a part of the investigative team and is responsible for analyzing and investigating incoming complaints for alleged violations of Florida Statutes and Board Rules regulated by the Department. The incumbent in this position is responsible for examining and evaluating complaints against condominium, cooperative and timeshare associations. This includes conducting investigations regarding a wide range of complex issues, in accordance with the Bureau of Compliance procedures, to determine compliance with the Florida Statutes and Florida Administrative Code.

What You Will Do

Conducts investigations, analyzes and reviews complaints, prepares investigative memos/reports, interviews witnesses, gathers evidence, conducts authorized travel, and maintains investigative files. Requires consistent, timely, and precise updates and responses in either written or telephonic communication with complainants and subjects regarding complaints, updates, and inquiries submitted to the Division.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have one year of investigative experience, one year of experience in researching and analyzing statutory issues, and a valid Florida Driver License. A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, as well as bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
