Job Description
The Texas Workforce Commission is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant (RA) to assist VR Counselors in providing services to customers to achieve successful employment outcomes.

Requirements

  • Eighteen (18) months experience in office practices and office support work utilizing a personal computer in a Windows' based environment
  • Experience in applying purchasing procedures, case guidelines, regulations and policies, case management support functions
  • Knowledge of community and government service delivery systems, mental illness and emotional components of physical illness
  • Ability to interpret highly complex policies/procedures, maintain confidentiality, analyze/interpret highly complex financial data
  • Skill in interviewing and in conducting individual needs assessments
