Role OverviewThe Rehabilitation Assistant assists VR Counselors in providing services to customers to achieve successful employment outcomes. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have excellent planning/organizing/time management/communication skills.
What You Will Do
Performs entry-level to journey-level human services/rehabilitation support work, including routine caseload support service, collecting information for intake/profile process, and maintaining business relationships with providers/businesses/customers/staff.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 18 months of experience in office practices and office support work, knowledge of community and government service delivery systems, and ability to interpret complex policies/procedures.
Requirements
- One year of full-time qualifying experience in case management support, purchasing and general knowledge of disabilities
- Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in human services, social science, business or a related field
- Two years of full-time qualifying experience in case management support, purchasing and general knowledge of disabilities
