Job Description
The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant (RA) to join the Vocational Rehabilitation Department. The RA will assist VR Counselors in providing services to customers to achieve successful employment outcomes. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have excellent planning/organizing/time management/communication skills.
Requirements
Eighteen (18) months experience in office practices and office support work utilizing a personal computer in a Windows' based environment
Experience in: Applying purchasing procedures; Case guidelines, regulations and policies; Case management support functions
Knowledge of: Community and government service delivery systems; Mental illness and emotional components of physical illness
Ability to: Interpret highly complex policies/procedures; Maintain confidentiality; Analyze/interpret highly complex financial data
Skill in interviewing and in conducting individual needs assessments
Benefits
Competitive starting salary: $3,333.33-$4,251.92/month
