Job Description
The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services is seeking a Rehabilitation Counselor to provide guidance and counseling to individuals with disabilities in achieving employment outcomes. The position requires knowledge of psychosocial assessment and vocational rehabilitation counseling, as well as the ability to work with individuals with disabilities and interpret medical and psychological information.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of psychosocial assessment and vocational rehabilitation counseling
  • Knowledge of assistive technology
  • Knowledge of disability rights, culture, and history
  • Ability to be flexible and balance between literal adherence to rules and the use of policies as a guide
  • Skill in working with individuals with disabilities
