Job Description

The position provides guidance and counseling to individuals with disabilities in achieving employment outcomes, including developing individual rehabilitation plans, counseling consumers on job and career development goals, and consulting and coaching Workforce partners and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of psychosocial assessment and vocational rehabilitation counseling
  • Knowledge of assistive technology
  • Knowledge of disability rights, culture, and history
  • Ability to be flexible and balance between literal adherence to rules and the use of policies as a guide
  • Skill in working with individuals with disabilities
  • Ability to interpret and use medical and psychological information to make sound decisions
  • Ability to be proactive, organized, and manage caseloads
