Role OverviewPerforms designated routine patient care tasks under the direct supervision of the clinician(s). Assists the clinician to provide safe mobility and positioning of the patient as needed. Maintains and cleans treatment areas and equipment. Participates in operational aspects of the department and maintains performance improvement activities as required.
What You Will Do
Maintains and cleans treatment areas and equipment, orders and distributes supplies, performs scheduling, customer service, and clerical duties, and transports medications.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires Basic Life Support certification, familiarity with patient lifting and handling procedures, and successful completion of the rehabilitation technician training program.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA within 6 months of hire
- Successful completion of the rehabilitation technician training program within 3 months of hire
- 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Rehab experience preferred
