Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking a Reimbursement Supervisor in Ophthalmology to provide assistance and training to staff on coding, compliance, and billing issues, and to supervise daily operations of departmental billing. The position involves overseeing department insurance verification/procedure authorization work queues, maintaining department productivity standards, and leading training sessions for direct reports and clinic staff employees.

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience in physician practice plan, healthcare, or medical insurance environment
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Previous exposure to hospital or physician billing
