Role OverviewAs a Relationship Banker, you will be responsible for identifying customer needs and matching them with the appropriate bank products and services. You will deepen customer relationships while also processing a variety of cash and non-cash transactions.
What You Will Do
Your main responsibilities will include identifying customer needs, making referrals, selling and cross-selling deposit accounts, loan products, insurance products, and cash management services. You will also deliver exceptional customer experience, safeguard the bank's assets, and balance the cash drawer daily.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We are looking for a candidate with 2 years of face-to-face customer service experience, retail sales experience, or prior Trustmark Relationship Banker experience. You should be able to learn Trustmark consumer and/or mortgage lending guidelines and process applicable loans within 2 years of employment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of face-to-face customer service experience, retail sales experience, or prior Trustmark Relationship Banker experience
- Ability to learn Trustmark consumer and/or mortgage lending guidelines and process applicable loans within 2 years of employment
- Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS)
- Basic math concepts and ability to handle routine transactions and close out the cash drawer
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to meet sales goals in a retail environment
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal technology systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
